Can’t quite believe it, but with all the nightmare stories you hear, my 6 year old autistic granddaughter has been offered a place at a specialist school. You hear so much about limited provision, I know we’re very lucky. I did look up the fees the LA has to pay 😳😳😳

Why so circumspect? Surely there’s no question about illegality?

I'm one of the 9 million of working age not working, as is my husband. We are both retired, but not of state pension age. It's not that we don't have a work ethic, we just saved and then decided we'd done enough. I'm not concerned it upsets him. Tit.

There's a 6 hour 2022 documentary currently available on BBC iplayer: The US and the Holocaust.

In itself, it it's an informative and interesting watch, but what I found quite chilling was, especially in the first episode, how many parallels there are to things we hear being said today.

Woke up. Opened a news app. Rapidly closed it. Nuts!

We have our granddaughter visiting this afternoon so I’ve put the heating up. I’ve become so used to a colder house that the 20°C setting seems ridiculously hot 🤣

I've just finished the 3rd episode of the BBC programme on 7/7.

Appalled by the realisation there was nothing Jean Charles de Menezes could have done to stay alive on that fateful day. We should be ashamed by the derisory settlement his family received.

Saw this posted on FB. At first I thought it was fairly standard because it's just furniture ... until I saw it. Crazy, but I'd go with it!

It goes without saying, Christmas TV is rubbish, but here in SE England, because of the weather conditions we’ve lost all TV signal. That doesn’t particularly bother me, but I’m sure it’s pretty rubbish for someone! Progress eh!

Xmas Eve hasn’t gone quite as planned. The brand new tree stand has leaked and today I realised the can full of water I put in on the first five days was just being emptied onto the carpet.
Noticed because of the smell of mould!
Also discovered mould behind shelves 😱 (condensation issue)

BBC News leading with location for Charlie's Xmas Day broadcast.

Who cares? Relatively speaking, almost no one.

Watched by 7 million last year, and I bet half of them only watched because the TV was on anyway 🤷‍♀️

I do love a Christmas tree.

All I did when this was decorated was drink several glasses of wine. And now that my son is an adult there’s no need to move 6 ornaments clumped on one branch.

Bit early, but Merry Christmas 🎄

And I must have been mad to buy this, surely my most expensive decoration!

I decided to send my Christmas cards 2nd class. I usually send them 1st class, but as there’s no rush, why not.

Anyway, whole point is I’m staggered by the difference in cost. 85p v £1.65 😳😳

When you watch the most awful film on Amazon Prime, on a glass or two of wine, it’s so bad, it’s laugh out loud.

Lots of giggles that aren’t supposed to be there.

The Invasion.

Minor moan, but does anyone else find it blooming annoying, constantly being asked to answer surveys about service?

Pity the poor worker who is penalised (or rather not rewarded) for anything less than 10/10.

This is Big Mac. He is a wonderful gentle giant of a street dog who has advanced kidney failure.

I gave him a golden ticket 🎫 to stay with us and live out his days.

Today I wanted to give him the best day of his life. I think we succeeded… (1/8) 🧵

Ok, anyone able to identify why this is happening.

On my MacBook I’m able to access a specific website from Safari. My OH has a MacBook too, but he can’t access it using Safari or Chrome.

Why on earth would that be?

🤣🤣 in advance of jokes, but seriously anyone know why. History cleared
