It’s been a very wet week, but today’s #SixOnSaturday still highlights some plants that are great for winter scent. We have a hellebora flower, Winter Honeysuckle, Plum blossom, Virburnum, Sweet Box and Cornus mas.

Finished my latest pair of socks 🧦🧶 I was knitting them for myself but Mum has taken a shine to them so will probably gift them to her if they fit okay.

Sorry for the lack of recent posts but I had an unexpected 6 night stay in hospital. Feeling much better now and should be back to normal soon.

Public funding has always been vital for #ukcanals, with no evidence they can survive without it. This extra funding is a welcome step in the right direction, but the principle of long-term public funding must still be defended against Govt. policy.

Finished the socks and they fit the recipient. Not much else happened that is exciting. It’s been wet and grey. Foot is healing. Have a trip to the hospital tomorrow to see the surgeon for a check up.
