I've been a mum for almost 2 years now, and some days I'm still utterly amazed at the sheer amount of love my body can contain for my child. At his little body backing into mine for safety, at his little hand holding mine, at his sweet little face staring at mine (especially if I'm trying to eat).

I love @projectghostlight.bsky.social, but as a fairly new mum it's a surpringly difficult watch. No spoilers, but man this hits close to home in the "personal horror" category. Every single cast member utterly destroys my emotions.

My toddler just found my old tape recorder, and won't give it back, so my partner and I have to listen to an old recording of teenage Debbie singing really, really terribly. I was around 12 ok.
I don't like to use the word "cringe", but this has me physically cringing so bad that my bones hurt.

If you're unaware of Boorman's script LoTR script, it's definitely worth your time. There's much more than Galadriel and Frodo fucking.
In 1970, John Boorman of Zardoz fame wrote a film treatment of LotR.
It is a STINKER of a film, although there are some legitimately interesting ideas tucked into it.
