Don't be scared of some "one-world government' implanting a chip or tattooing you. Be scared of becoming enmeshed in and indistinguishable from a proud, greedy, violent, immoral, cruel, dehumanizing, oppressive, successful empire. Be careful that you don't take on its marks to enjoy its benefits.
