Copyeditor specializing in fantasy and science fiction.
It’s always a treat to work on John’s books!
ALSO, a shoutout to @deannahoak.bsky.social, who is the copyeditor of The Shattering Peace (the novel I'm currently going through the edits of). I've said this before and undoubtedly will say this again, but as an author, a good copy editor can save you from yourself. Deanna is just the best.

Just got my copyedit for When the Moon Hits Your Eye, and once again @deannahoak.bsky.social has done a terrific job saving me from myself and my apparent tendency to give multiple entirely unrelated characters the same last name. I 100% recommend her for all your copyediting needs.

My sister gifted us some hot Hatch green chiles, and I used an entire pound of them to make green chile stew tonight.

It was painfully good.

According to the Verge, OpenAI is in talks to rehire Sam Altman.

I have no idea what to make of the whole mess. www.theverge.com/2023/11/18/2...

This is far too funny.
How is the OpenAI board gonna fire Sam Altman just because he gave answers that sounded plausible but weren't actually accurate?
