The F3 that just hit St. Louis was 1 mile wide & 23 miles long. 💔
I was in a vehicle that got hit by a F0 tornado in 2004, while chasing. The fact I lived was just luck. Part of a tree came through the side windows, just barely missed me.
Has that been a slightly stronger tornado (F1) or had I been in an urban area with more debris, my time would have stopped.
