i think the fact this is still blowing up my notifs is p telling... so for the love of our fandoms and communities online, comment on stuff, if you love something SAY IT OUT LOUD TO THE PERSON WHO MADE IT 💕
Fandom needs interaction to thrive, if u want to keep enjoying art, fic, edits, animations, silly little hcs, and all of that gud stuff, give some of the love back that creators pour out for you, fandom shouldn't be /content/ to mindlessly consume, let it be a dialogue of love and appreciation 🙏✨❤️
I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.
