Signed our kid up in a Learn to Play league. $305 for all the gear and 6 sessions. Great deal right? Nope.
Cheap helmets did not fit. We spent two visits to store to find one that did. $330 after hoping for a $60 replacement.
$665 and we haven’t been on the ice.

Connor Bedard is currently ranked in the 95th, 98th, and 99th %ile of total speed burst categories.
This is not a small thing. And if it looks like he his flying on the ice it’s because he is.
He’s also logged the 8th most miles skated by forwards.

I believe 8:52pm local time is an incredibly stupid time to start a game no matter the day of the week.

Paul Maurice, in his first gig at Hartford/Carolina went 268-291-99-16 (.397) including a 22-43 final full season with guys like O’Niell, Brind’Amour, Francis and Weekes with a 2.55GAA.
