4. Captain Planet always felt like inspiration and the desire to do good made flesh. So I suppose he's not actually so much human as he is a combination of the Planeteers' drive to be the best they can be. He does constantly tell the kiddos that, "the power is yours."

1. One thing I don't think I want in a Captain Planet reboot is too dark and broody of a Captain Planet. I liked his ability to mock those in power while waterlogging them or whatever he was up to in any given episode.
