Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has restored the status of late Brigadier General Francis X. Hummel, USMC, saying Hummel served his country admirably as a warfighter despite the DEI policies of military brass. Hummel now qualifies for a full military burial at Arlington alongside Barbara, his wife.
