#DDEV v1.25.0 has experimental Podman Rootless and Docker Rootless support, especially aimed at Linux users. It's niche, but Stas worked for a year to get us there, using Docker APIs more carefully and completely cleaning out our stack. Huge benefit for the entire project. ddev.com/blog/podman-...

I really do like the DDEV tip of the day that you get in the terminal.

Tip:
In any project you can omit the name' key from config.yaml to use the directory name as the project name. In v1.24.9+ you can make this the default behavior. It's great for working with git subtree.

It just took me *10 mins* from zero to running a perfect localhost wordpress. (Using DDEV of course)

Before DDEV, it was almost a weekend-long project to set up nginx/mariadb servers on macos & configure everything.
