Hi! I’m new here. I’m leaving my X and want to introduce myself to BlueSky.

I’m a board game designer who’s sold over 4.5 million games. I started a company called North Star Games in 2003 that grew to 30 employees. We had 6 games on the shelf at Target before everything started to unravel.
Went to Kings Dominion with my daughter today and the longest line took 3 minutes. So many roller coasters!

New BTC podcast! I talk to Ross Connell about the vital role of art and marketing in game design—from how visuals shape a game’s identity to what publishers expect when reviewing a pitch. Find out how art and marketing can make your games stand out. thegamedesignroundtable.com/episode/btc-...

Secondly, which option do you prefer for the Salmon Run mini-module? The left or the right?

My first play of BGG.Con was Nature! The rules are light, but there's a lot of opportunity for weird and creative plays. Like it!

I’m working on a thematic overview and would love some feedback.

Nature is a game by @dcrapuchettes.bsky.social where you evolve nature's most un-huntable critters... and the animals who hunt them. It is beautiful.

Nature Review: Invincible Mice and Other Captivating Creatures
Imagine, if you will, a creature. It is roughly the size of a mouse. Its body is covered in a rock-hard defensive carapace. Beneath that solid armor, which I’ve chosen to imagine clanks aroun…

At Essen, I pitched a 15 minutes press your luck to Ravensburger, Kosmos, and HABA, and they all want a prototype!

Now all I need is a game name... Which name do you prefer?

- Brilliant Misfits
- Deluded Dreamers
- Unhinged Inventors
- Inspired Lunatics
- Irrational Exuberance

I love this species! His first game at Essen, he creates an animal that gets at least 7 food for any hunt!

Nature Digital just announced the release date!

I can't tell you how exciting it is to have a digital game available just after our board game launch. Working in tandem with the digitsl team made balancing the game much easier.
