Democracy is a continuous building project: it requires constant effort to renew, strengthen, and invigorate.

Let's work together to carry that torch ahead.

California passing Prop-50 is a big mistake. Since when was copying a Donald Trump policy a good idea? Democrats should not gerrymander but instead focus on turning red districts blue.

This government shut down has proven the need for a third party. Both political parties in power would rather fight each other then for their voters!

For the record, I think endangering SNAP benefits for 42 million Americans over political dysfunction is cruel and irresponsible on both sides. So much needless and pointless suffering for what?

The latest Gallup poll confirms what we already feel in our bones (and probably our group chats): most Americans want something new. We’re tired holding our noses and choosing between two extremes--or not getting a choice at all.

"The Forward Party is fighting for a system where the rules are fair, leaders answer to all their voters (not just party insiders), and primaries don’t reward the extremes. Partisan gerrymandering and closed primaries are two of the main tools the major parties use to protect their turf."

The government shutdown is now causing delays in air travel and possibly safety issues as well.

This is not what people voted for. And they shouldn’t have to. It’s time for better options.

The current government funding crisis is becoming a normal feature of our politics.

Flash back to years ago when Ted Cruz held up a CR and caused a funding crisis over some of the same issues driving today’s situation, says Lindsey Drath, Forward CEO.

This isn’t what a healthy system looks like.

It looks like we are on track for another government shut down. The duopoly can’t even do the basics anymore. Soon voters will realize neither party has their interests at heart.

When more than 75% of people think the country is in a crisis, THAT alone is a crisis.

The need for change is real.

Both sides of the political isle have proven time and time again to be anti free speech and pro cancel culture. They just have different groups of who they want to cancel.
After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel
Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

The Council thinks they should celebrate giving a billion dollars to the NFL. Newsflash they could have accomplished everything they are touting without giving a billionaire taxpayer money. This is what happens when one party has a monopoly on a City.
The DC Council approved on second and final vote legislation to redevelop the RFK stadium campus. The final deal has come a long way from the one announced earlier this year – swipe to see some of the biggest changes.
