Half the world thinks Trump expects Iran to back out. They would've backed out by now. They have China helping so they haven't. Will Trump TACO? Not without losing major face. Not with Israel pushing as Israel knows US wants to stop funding them militarily so they need to rid Iran now.

Rumor is Israelis got the green light to start the fireworks. Its morning in Iran so may have to wait a day before it starts. I think Israel wants to lock it in as they are desperate for US to join the fight before they change their mind. As said before, initial optimism but later things change.

With all the assets in Middle East, us readiness is getting compromised elsewhere. Also very expensive to keep troops there.

3 day weekend. I give it a good chance for Iran attack and 2nd carrier moving is a ruse to lull Iranians into thinking they have more time. Remember, Trump plays checkers. The Iranians already have spies in countries with US airbases and will know when they take off.

Last 3-4 months saw some of the biggest $ flow into the markets. You look at SPX and its been flat for that duration. For every buyer there's a seller. Its not until SPX breaches sept lows that you will find whether those new buyers have more $.
