Despite warnings, between 1 Feb – 3 Oct 2023, 26 inspections found effluent being discharged from a piggery to adjacent land then flowing into streams that flow to the Waihou River. Yes, they’ve been fined, but it's repeated environmental & health vandalism and the piggery can still operate 🧵
