I started a list of my all time top 10 albums, but ended up with 54.
What defines it? No skips, ever? No filler? Or all time because it's a place and time in your life?

A perfect Tasman day, early morning walk, Brightwater flower show which was brilliant, a swim near the cormorants, reading, and ended with craft beer and pizza.

I copy of the latest New Yorker magazine ended up on my desk at work, no idea how, so I took it home to read. What a Sunday morning delight to read print, long-form, well-researched and written articles, instead of doom scrolling news.

Prime Minister Mark Carney gave a forceful speech Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on the “new world order” and how middle powers like Canada can benefit by working together.

Reporter: Renee Good was shot in the head and killed by an ICE Agent.

Leavitt: Why was she killed?

Reporter: Because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed her unjustifiably

Leavitt: You’re a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter.

Despite warnings, between 1 Feb – 3 Oct 2023, 26 inspections found effluent being discharged from a piggery to adjacent land then flowing into streams that flow to the Waihou River. Yes, they’ve been fined, but it's repeated environmental & health vandalism and the piggery can still operate 🧵
Watch: Raw effluent from piggery gushes into local streams

Unbelievably, Shane thinks the fast track isn't going fast enough and it appears to be too democratic so him and Bishop are reining it in, with a new bill to be passed under urgency.

Everything that makes Aotearoa New Zealand unique is related to Māori culture. Welcome to the country, that's a pōwhiri. We are gonna thrash you at sport, that's a haka. Traditional meals, that's a hāngī. Matariki that's our New Year

If you don't like Māori stuff maybe you're in the wrong country?
