Ethnography of communication. I study how and why culture and discourse move sideways. Associate Prof at CU Boulder. Parent. He/him/ő.
I'm proud to serve on the editorial board of this nascent ICA journal. What is GPC? Imagine starting the Journal of Communication today. The aim is to represent the field's global diversity. Consider sending your work our way! GPC is fully OA and waives article processing fees for unfunded articles.
A question we've gotten lately, "Is it okay to submit my #ICA25 paper to your journal?"

It absolutely is! Of course, a few suggestions that you might keep in mind as you prepare those manuscripts for us:

Hot off the press: the 2nd edition of my textbook "Intercultural Communication: Pathways to Better Interactions."

Check it out if you teach intro-level undergraduate intercultural comm courses with an emphasis on everyday interaction!

I've started working on a (very incomplete!) starter pack for social interaction researchers! If you're working in this space, please asked to be added (or suggest others)! Meant to be inclusive of many disciplines, methods, interaction types, and types of interacting agents: go.bsky.app/44VAEhU
