California is protecting access to reproductive care. When federal attacks threatened Planned Parenthood, we stepped in, first with $172 million last year and now an additional $90 million, to keep doors open and care accessible for patients across our state. @ppfa.org

I recently introduced AB 1539, the Protect Our Democracy Act, to strengthen California’s constitutional safeguards and ensure our ballots reflect the rule of law. Earlier today President Trump announced a federal funding freeze for sanctuary states. (1/2)
