Spotify was already pushing it with the whole "no pay-out for any song with less than 1,000 streams per year"
No pay-out for any artist with less than 1,000 monthly listeners is remarkably abusive and exploitative toward small artists

Why do I find it so hard to advertise my own music? I don't judge the small artists that do it a lot; but when I think "yeah, you should too" it changes to "lol no one cares, don't bother" very quickly.
