What adaptations/appropriations of Midsummer have y’all had success teaching to undergrads (majors or non-majors)? I have at least two literary-cultural interventions for all other Shakespeare plays on my syllabus, but Midsummer has me stumped. What am I missing? (Lots, I’m sure…)

Friends: I’m hoping to get my paws on an essay published in MILTON STUDIES, but my uni’s subscription is hard-copy only and I’m 100 miles away from campus at the moment. Does anyone have digital institutional access? 🥹🙏

Intentional. They want non-fascist faculty to leave the state to make it easier to implement their fascist policies.
New survey of 4,250 faculty in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas: "31% of those surveyed said they were 'actively considering' interviewing in a different state this year. In Florida, it was about 46%—and 28% said they’d already interviewed."

Forty-six percent of Florida respondents said they planned to look for university jobs in other states.
