Pluribus was to premier on Friday night but it became available tonight. Started watching and with 10 minutes left Apple TV crashes. It was intense and good. Now I feel like it was all planned and I was part of the show. I’m being played!

Dick Cheney did more than anyone else to build up expansive and destructive executive branch powers in the wake of 9/11; he lived to see another president turn those same powers against his own daughter.

He should be a warning sign to the GOP today but too many of them are in the cult.

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

Planning a fishing and camping trip. Forget airports, the Trump administration is now blaming Democrats for the shutdown everywhere (see alert at top). Authoritarianism is on the march in America. Pathetic, scary and sad.

Whether you know a lot or nothing about Silicon Valley, this is a must read piece by my friend and former Wired bud Steven levy @stevenjayl. He has seen the evolution of tech from its beginnings. He knows everyone. Few have as powerful a lens. It’s just seminal. www.wired.com/story/silico...

Good read.
When @wired asked me to look at Silicon Valley in the age of Trump, I saw the crash of the idealism that originally drew founders--and me--to the tech revolution. Selling out the dream will not serve those moguls (or us) well. www.wired.com/story/silico...

I am actually sad to have to say this since I have admired much about Disney CEO Bob Iger over the years, but what a profoundly quisling move this is by someone who knows better. It’s shameful and he has tarnished his once proud reputation.

Every person of color knew it was going to be a white man.

No prayers needed.
Governor of Utah, "I was praying that it was an immigrant."

The USA is a hellhole, to smear immigrants like this on stage in front of the whole country when they had nothing to do with it.

This is disgusting.

I’m selling a thing and I was told Facebook Marketplace is what everyone uses now, so I begrudgingly installed Facebook after more than a decade. This is the worst app I’ve ever used. We need a national deprogramming effort to show people this isn’t what software or human interactions are.

Invited my college age daughter out to Easter dinner. Her grandparents will treat. She replied that she couldn’t make it. She said: “Sunday is 4/20 and I go to Berkeley.”

Anyone have any idea what she might be referring to?
