Those who have been caregivers.

Bad Bunny’s performance began in the plantation, featured broken electric poles, and ended by centering a hemispheric understanding of “América”—among many other things—and some Anglo journalists are like “his performance wasn’t political.”

This is why we need to be telling our stories.

The current political status of PR is not sustainable. It needs either to be admitted to the Union or become a truly independent country with its own say versus what those in Washington or Wall Street prefer. I would like to see Meléndez Badillo write on Cuba.

Just finished reading @jmelendezbadillo.bsky.social's book on Puerto Rico. I knew nothing about this history. My only connection to the island is that half my DNA is from it and I have a few relatives there. I don't speak Spanish nor know any of its culture. It was an enlightening read.

Finished Gary Bengier's book, Unfettered Journey. I commend his effort in writing a novel; more than I have done. I thought that the story was hokey. I couldn't buy the characters and their emotions. It all seemed simple and a personal fantasy than a story I could believe in. I would pass on this.
