While in many ways, in my lifetime, America hasn't been more divided than it is now. However, there are signs that the majority of Americans are concerned about extreme #polarization, and want to work across differences to address common goals. More here:

Lots of people are focusing on #socialconnection!

The @nytimes.com article headline about recent survey on #polarization has the pessimistic take that our divisions can't be overcome to solve the nation's problems.

Some silver lining - there's some bipartisan agreement that our divisions are a serious problem.

I like being in the mode of checking the MLB scoreboard last week of the season, as a #RedSox fan! Been a few years...

Oh yes, speaking of checking, I see the Astros got a W so Sox need to win to make this #ClinchDay.

What an impressive (and timely) blast! #RedSox
Jarren Duran gives the Sox the hit that they've desperately needed and haven't gotten often this month: He crushes a two-run homer to right. It's just the 2nd time the Sox have homered with a man on base since Anthony's injury. Sox now lead, 4-3.

"The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in politics without fear of violence. To lose that is to risk losing everything. Charlie Kirk — and his family — just lost everything. Being kind boosts mental health more than seeking joy.

Evidence: Doing 3 random acts of kindness a week is enough to reduce depression, anxiety & loneliness. It's more beneficial than doing nice things for yourself.

With tonight’s win, the #RedSox have officially clinched the season series over the Yankees — a result that could carry major weight if postseason tie-breakers come into play.

The Red Sox are 7-1 vs. New York, with 5 games remaining in the head-to-head series.
