hope you are not implying that my argument was nonsense.

Trump appears in the files 38,000 times
Rep. Jamie Raskin, "Donald Trump's name is all over the underrated Epstein files.. Thousand and thousands
of times"

"If you spend any real time with these files you will see references to"

"17, 16, 14, 11, 10, 9 year old girls"

"We need to listen to the survivors"

But Starmer admitted he knew about Mandelson and Epstein during appointment process. He said this explicitly in a direct answer to a direct question on this in parliament. There as an intake of breath even though the MPs knew he knew.

additional quid pro quo element: Mandelson helped McSweeney. McSweeney helps Mandelson
February 10, 2026 at 11:32 AM
or they didn't think it was a risk because they thought Trump would never allow the Epstein files to be released. That gamble failed because this is like the #1 issue for the MAGA base.
February 10, 2026 at 10:09 AM
Also: Starmer stood up in Parliament and said he knew about Mandelson and Epstein(!) when he appointed him ambassador. This was not a hindsight situation: he was directly informed about the details.
February 10, 2026 at 9:44 AM
In fact many argue Mandelson got ambassador job BECAUSE he was in Epstein's elite club with Trump (who happens to appear 22000 times in the Epstein files)
February 10, 2026 at 7:22 AM
! Mandelson was already fired TWICE for corruption: once a notting hill property loan, another time for Hinduja's passport.... And of course there was Derapaska's yacht.

Also DOJ had this evidence for years. Likely it was shared intel with UK.

No hindsight required.

So you admit he plotted to remove Brown. Which also supports the thesis that there is every possibility he plotted prior to that too. He's a pathological plotter

They want you to believe Starmer's going because of Mandelson. He isn't. He's been on the way out since summer because the polls are disastrous because half the Labour base have gone to the Greens for entirely political reasons. This is why Starmer will go: www.newstatesman.com/politics/uk-...
Why is Keir Starmer so unpopular?
Britain needs a leader willing to break with the legacy of Thatcherism

Also you continually claimed that Mandelson was not influential under Blair. Where is the evidence for this?
February 9, 2026 at 12:55 PM
But Mandelson was literally plotting to get Brown to resign in 2010.
February 9, 2026 at 12:54 PM
you said Mandelson had nothing to do with the plot to remove Brown in your podcast but the Epstein files include Mandelson openly talking about removing Brown.

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.
February 9, 2026 at 8:51 AM
calling it a bad appointment is a bit of an understatement. Mandelson was leaking state, EU secrets to Epstein, facilitating inside trading, maybe plot to remove Brown was from Epstein too, and that's before we get into the child rape, money laundering. And images of death were not released.

Either Starmer fires McSweeney or Labour fires Starmer

Here's an impressive Zack Polanski on Starmer, Mandelson, McSweeney and Thiel โ€“ and on the importance of sometimes putting country before party politics.

could also argue that 600k killed in illegal wars is bigger.
February 5, 2026 at 2:28 PM
yeah - and prior to that Epstein was running it(!) via Mandelson
