Sometimes I envy Mac users. Installing a single SSD turned into a multi-day affair after some weird power gremlins started appearing. When I remove it, it's like nothing ever happened. When I plug it in, my PSU starts having a rave and the motherboard randomly drops power to random components. Fuck!

In order to avoid people's filters, AI art is now being called synth art, apparently. Reminds me of when I worked in display advertising and we changed names and IDs to circumvent ad blockers. Same scum level of both the industry and the practice.

I feel like I don't talk about my motorsport endeavours on here. So, here are some photos from last weekend, where I won my final. Unfortunately, it was a lower-skill final, as I botched my quali and had a bad semi-final, leaving me in the lower classes, but a podium is a podium. 🤷♂️

Of all the apps I've side loaded in my life, not one was malicious. The same cannot be said for all of the apps I downloaded from the Play Store. I'm sure Google is just trying to protect me from myself, though, and not to create yet another hostilr-to-the-user closed tech ecosystem, a la Apple.
All apps need to come from verified developers now.

I am seriously getting sick of LinkedIn recruiters who do not know what they are hiring for. I am a game designer and programmer, and yet I am getting contacted for graphic design jobs, artist/animator jobs, and video editor jobs. I am at a point where I am considering deleting my profile.
