Why not do away with capital gains tax for individuals? All capital gains can be taxed at ordinary income tax rates. Exception for homes... If stock options are used as collateral for a loan, they should be exercised on the loan date with the cost basis being the closing price on that day...

I'm at peace with my decision not to watch the FIFA World Cup matches even though some of the matches will be played here in Seattle. I would have really loved to go to this once in a lifetime experience but.... 🙅♂️
