I really hate listening to most contemporary R&B through headphones, because the vocals are inevitably so extensively digitally processed that it just sounds like AI to me. Even songs I enjoy, like Ella Mai's "Shot Clock," just frustrate me.

If you're a nonwhite person and are ONLY NOW starting to get worried about having proper ID on you at all times, you've been coasting on "not looking Black" for too damn long.
