I can't help but feel I experienced the world in microcosm on the way to the shop today.
I saw a queue of cars stuck trying to enter a single lane tunnel. I thought the roadworks on the other side must have caught everyone out with the different traffic lights.

Many things are terrible, but I just discovered my current pharmacy IS covered under my new insurance 👍🏻 YAAAAAYYYY for not having to laboriously transfer more than a dozen prescriptions 🎉

Super duper love that none of my healthcare exchange options this year covered my psychiatrist, so now I get to pay $150/session or find a new doc 🙃

Nothing like moving around several hundred pounds of filament to take your mind off shit. I was already planning to tidy it up, but instead I laboriously reconfigured my baker's rack shelving & shuffled spools for nearly 3 hours 😐

At my wit's end trying to calm and/or distract the dogs during last night's fireworks fuckery & finally during the apocalypse at midnight I threw a giant handful of shredded cheese across the kitchen floor 🧀 I still only got about 3 hours' sleep but that 20 minutes of silence was much needed 😑

I just spoke to a business who told me they "couldn't update the website every second of every day" with stock status for a thing that they told me is on an EIGHT WEEK backorder AFTER my order was placed, and the effort I expended to stay calm took most of my spoons 🤬

If you ever have dental surgery & they offer you the $250 3-day time-release numbing injection, I highly, HIGHLY recommend that shit. I have had zero tooth pain this entire time 🤘🏻
