My kingdom for a rational, common-sense debate on the future of Welsh rugby like this thread demonstrates.
Putting this out here … my background is sporting governance; I know a daft amount about it; I’m very experienced in it; I advise national governing bodies. I’m one of the very few people based in the UK that the WRU should have spoken to about the proposed changes to the structure of Welsh rugby.

Saw Ordinary Decent Criminal this morning with @markthomasinfo.bsky.social. Incredible hour of theatre! Everything I want from a fringe show. Performance, script, production; all pin-point precise. It's rare I come out of a show without any criticisms. 5 star: no notes 🤣

There’s a Turkish phrase about the upside of hitting rock bottom being that things can’t get any worse. It goes göte giren şemsiye açılmaz and it means “an umbrella up one’s ass cannot be opened”

Just watched all of full contact. My main takeaways:
- a confused show that doesn't seem to know who it is targeting
- all the Wales players who were the next wave (Winnet, Martin, Lloyd, Dyer, Mann ect) no longer involved
- gutting way for George North to bow out. A legend who deserved a better end
