Hey I know it's hard to stick it to the American government and billionaires in general.....but one simple way is to not produce and share AI images of Donald Trump drinking gallons of milk and Usha Vance dressed like a couch.

Day 2 of the new mystery sore throat and sinus symptoms. No covid tests on hand, local stores sell boxes dated to expire in May 2023, and virtually nobody within 2.3 hours in any direction accepts my fledgling insurance (did you change plans before the 15th of this month? I couldn’t).

Can’t breathe

If you’re not still wearing a mask in America in 2026, then here’s your wake-up call:

The U.S. left the World Health Organization citing what 🇺🇸 leadership called the failure of the organization’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Whatever current leadership say is going on? Bet the other way.

So many of my favourite genre television programs of the late 70’s and pretty much the entire 1980’s focused on “someone/a group wanted for a crime they did not commit.” I miss that trope.

Dr. David Banner, The A-Team. So many fun tales of dudes being Good Guys On The Run Because The Man Sucks.
Bill Bixby stars as Dr. David Banner with co-stars Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk, and Jack Colvin as Jack McGee, in "THE INCREDIBLE HULK" (1978 - 1982) on the CBS Network

I miss the old Cineplex Odeon theatres and their weird purple 1980’s logos.

Loews and AMC can cram it with walnuts.

Despite the -24°F wind chill today I drove to the open mic jam the local Folk Society puts on. There was a fiddler who was the only player newer to the group than I, which made me wish I’d brought my mandolin. But he sounded terrific when I bashed out Gram Parsons’s Hickory Wind. I hope he returns.

Just a little light reading (listening) as I try to hunker down for an early night’s sleep.

They say it’s going to be -48°F tomorrow with the wind chill. Schools and businesses locally have already announced they’re closing. Today would have been a good time to re-supply, but I’m broke. Oh well!

Sharing again for the evening crowd. We've been working on this for almost two years, I'm very proud of it, and it launches in four weeks!

And yeah, Evolve PR and Team Audio did a fantastic job with the trailer.
Love deck-builders? Love twisted occult horror? The Killing Stone is coming to Steam. Thanks to @evolvepr.bsky.social for pulling together this masterpiece of a trailer.

Uh oh!

This account was started to promote my forthcoming YouTube guitar channel; but I fell down a bluegrass-shaped hole tonight, so now I’m chopping and picking on my mandolin.

Oh well!

Macarena Tapas in Aurora/Naperville, IL. Still the best small plates I’ve ever had. I took girls there and sometimes treated myself on a lunchbreak when I worked down the road. Bacon-wrapped dates, patatas bravas, and still the most succulent chocolate ganache fritters I have ever tasted. I miss it.

please tell me about your favorite lost restaurant (closed for at least 5 years, like I really want you to go back into the vault), why you loved it and what you ate there

Trying to book solo acoustic gigs where I live is rough. A few weeks ago I was replaced by a jukebox while I was setting my gear up. A long, embarrassing story. That bar owner and his wife were both drunk at the time.

If you don’t believe this movie is the greatest movie sequel ever, then you’re wrong and/or you haven’t seen it.

It is pants-on-head insane. Strongly recommended.

Thank you to dear friends.

I’m 💵$635.00/1124.00 for my bill due January 31. Today is the 13th, but with a little help I can stay off the street this year. Proud to say I haven’t slept in my car since COVID first hit.

Can you help me? Links in bio

Nobody wants to buy 🦶 content from me and I’m not getting HRT nor top surgery, but I’d like to not lose the home I inherited after sleeping in my car and living w/friends for the pandemic

I’m 💵$535/$1124 for my 1st property tax payment due Jan 31. Food is scarce too, but 🏡 > 🍽️ rn.

The funny thing about retro hobbies/nostalgia is we’re approaching a time when physical media will be gone. So they’ll run out of physical items to sell to the kids and the middle-aged having existential crises.

Does this mean in the future all “anniversary editions” will be downloadable?

When did you stop wearing a mask altogether?

Reply, quote repost. All answers welcome. No arguments here. Just taking a poll of a sliver of The Internet.

Remember when Pearl Jam put out every single show in those little round cardboard CD cases and then Best Buy’s shelves were waterlogged with a million live versions of Yellow Ledbetter?

Now we have the Internet Archive. Mixed blessings.
