I’m definitely not a fan of how the notwithstanding clause has been used, but this story just goes to show that certain people within the gov’t have no idea what the charter is and how it’s used. This argument has no merit whatsoever, without the clause we wouldn’t have a charter.

Today would have been my grandparent’s 59th Anniversary…My great-grandmother made my grandmother’s wedding dress and even made the 3 tiered cake! They went to Expo 67 in the new year. My grandfather loved her until the very end and I know he misses her as we all do…❤️🥲 #Anniversary #Grandparents

Just trying to remember, did ANYONE get charged in the PNP scandal on Prince Edward Island? I know a few nice people were blacklisted for coming forward about it, but I don’t think anyone was ever charged.
Ontario has issued $509,100 in penalties against 77 legal representatives and employers for breaking the rules of a program that gives the province the power to pick immigrants who best suit its labour needs.

After an amazing trip to The Canadian Automotive Museum in Oshawa, I came home with some cool brochures and photos from dealerships. I absolutely LOVE this 1958 Pontiac Parisienne, nothing like the big land yachts that I saw when I was a kid - this one is gorgeous! #ClassicCars #PontiacParisienne
