Following the success of our local campaign to keep Hayes Police Station’s front desk — now’s the time to keep pushing.

Community policing matters, and I’ll continue pushing for the reopening of the front desk at Uxbridge Police Station.

Another week, another win.

A constituent in an extra care facility needed a new care package to meet their needs.

My team raised it with the housing provider, kept pushing — and now they’ve got the support they need. 💪

When I visited the Uxbridge Cadets, it was clear just how valuable the Government’s target to increase cadet numbers by 30% by 2030 is.

But to make sure we achieve this goal, we must support the incredible volunteers who make it all possible.

The new Government is reviewing outdated council funding formulas. Boroughs like Hillingdon deserve fairer funding.

But Hillingdon Conservatives have proven they can't handle our money.

I've written to the Minister calling for fairer funding and an independent review.

I spoke to Rhys, my constituent in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, about the struggles people with disabilities face when trying to access essential equipment.

This is unacceptable.

I’ve signed a letter calling on the Secretary of State to remove barriers and tackle delays.

Today, I marked Remembrance Day at a moving Armistice Day service at St Giles’ Church in Ickenham.

It is our duty to remember those who fought and died for our freedom. They made the ultimate sacrifice.

We will always remember them.

It’s absurd that, in the middle of a housing crisis, we’ve got sites like St. Andrews in Uxbridge half-built.

Alongside the Government’s plans to unlock these sites, I’ve been pushing the developer to get this one moving again so we can deliver the homes we really need.

Streetlights are vital for making people feel safe—especially as the darker nights draw near 🌃

After reports of the light being broken outside West Drayton Station, my office raised this with Network Rail and can confirm it is now working once again 💡

I joined 38 Degrees, along with fellow MPs, to reiterate how further taxes on the gambling industry can help achieve this government's aim of tackling child poverty.

Whilst children go hungry, gambling companies must be made to properly pay their way.

Voluntary organisations are so often the lifeblood of our communities — especially here in Hillingdon.

From Mencap to Mind, we must support our third-sector organisations.

Great to hear that the Government is committed to championing them across all departments.

Last week I met with supporters and staff from Breast Cancer Now in Parliament to celebrate #WearItPink.

My mother was diagnosed with cancer, so for me, it’s personal.

Great to hear more about the support and research they provide for everyone affected by breast cancer.

I visited the Speaker’s Memorial Garden in Parliament this week to honour all those who gave their lives for our freedom.

In Uxbridge and South Ruislip, our Armed Forces are our history, our present, and our future.

It is an honour to remember them.

Lest we forget.

Thanks to everyone who joined last month’s coffee meet-up in Colham and Cowley ☕️

As always, it was great to hear from residents about the issues that matter to them — from the future of the Rural Activities Garden Centre to protecting our canals, to name just a few 🙌

Following my meeting with the Home Office about the tragic murder of Wayne Broadhurst last week, I have formally written to the Chief Secretary at the Cabinet Office to request a cross-departmental government review into the events leading up to the attack.

Less than a year after the Defence Secretary came to Hillingdon to launch plans to rebuild military homes, he’s back to see them taking shape.

The Tories left military homes to crumble.

This Government is investing £9bn in rebuilding them.

Promise made. Promise delivered.

As we grapple with the horrific news of Wayne Broadhurst’s murder, I know people are angry, scared, and want answers.

Our focus must now be on delivering justice.

Later today, I’ll meet with the Home Office to call for a full review into how this was allowed to happen.

Whilst words cannot begin to alleviate the pain caused by such horror, my thoughts are with the victims and their families after yesterday’s triple stabbing in Hillingdon.

We must now focus on ensuring that all questions are answered and that justice is delivered.

The Labour for Leaseholders group is continuing to hold managing companies to account.

Last week, we questioned the CEO of Trinity Estates— a managing agent that is failing residents, including those at Arla Place in South Ruislip — about what they are going to do to improve services.

Last week, I joined teachers, parents and pupils as they gathered to protest Hillingdon Council’s plans to amalgamate Harefield Infant and Junior School.

📢 97% of parents oppose this proposal that's:
❌ bad for children
❌ bad for teachers
❌ bad for parents

Every day, 2,000 cigarette filters are littered on our streets.

These filters offer no health benefits and are a scourge on our natural environment.

I joinedAsh's parliamentary drop-in to hear about their campaign to ban cigarette filters.

Too many people who want to work are being locked out of employment.

The Government's Inactivity Trailblazer funds will smash the barriers preventing people from working, through an £80 million investment, including specific support for Hillingdon 🔥

Another great story about our wonderful talent coming out of Hillingdon!

6 students from the borough have been asked to join represent GB for the World Martial Arts Games in Oslo, and they're so close to meeting their fundraising goal!

As the Government outlines a national review of airports policy, I pressed for proper engagement with residents in Hillingdon.

Any plans for Heathrow expansion MUST be compatible with our climate commitments, not impact air quality and respond to the very real local concerns.

The fight to save the Rural Activities Garden Centre continues.

Friends of RAGC are preparing a judicial review against Hillingdon Council — but need help to raise funds for the pre-action letter.
