I wish we all had the room to feel free and comfortable enough to say, actually no I don’t like that idea because I can see how it can be punitive. I was scared to do that at first but I’ve been learning to just do it anyway but younger me would have never been comfortable admitting that to my boss

This week at work, I suggested enacting a policy that at first just seemed like a good idea but the more I thought about it, I realized it was kinda micromanaging. I think sitting with an idea is important because no one else said anything. I had to go back and disagree with my earlier self.
