* teaching 9am-11am (Golden Age cartoons),

* rush to town, gown-up, and do graduation (11:45- 1:45),

* do a little bit of celebrating (1:45-2ish), rush to de-gown,

* rush back to campus,

* teach 3pm-5pm (semitic and film)

Just finished watching the new Adam Curtis series, "Shifty". It took a while for the central thesis to come through, and I'm not sure that he was really saying anything new...but, as always, the archival footage was fascinating, the micro stories were interesting, and there was a great soundtrack.
