The likelihood of a SHA256 collision (a 64-character hex hash) is about 1 in 10^77. There are only about 10^80 atoms in the universe. You're far more likely to encounter hardware errors, cosmic ray bit flips, or bugs in your code than an actual collision. (thanks, AI: there's always a bug or 12)

Schumer has the stronger hand. He should not just choke off DHS funding to a trickle, but demand that all ICE activities stop for 30 days not just in MSP but across the US, with a revote on additional funding at the end of Feb.
