Along with a few others I've been on Instagram commenting on CPACs posts. Posting how the American people are getting hurt under this administration. They've officially tried posting a bunch and using paid trolls to hide the truth reminding people on their posts. So it's working.

Steel is bragging how much tarrifs are going to help them. How will it help them when demand for their products drop... people can only afford so much and when prices go up they can afford to buy less...

Right now the courts are our only form of protection once the government is shut down the courts will only stay open for 2 weeks. The Republicans can block reopening the government. If I remember correctly a government shutdown was planned in project 2025 to get the courts out of the way.
There is very little about this CR that I like—but there is even less I like about a government shutdown. With Trump & Musk taking a chainsaw to the government’s workforce & illegally freezing funding, the last thing we need to do is plunge our country into further chaos by shutting down the govt.

Trump and Musk are cutting veteran benefits without technically cutting them by firing the people who deliver them. It's like going to the grocery store to buy eggs at a store sayingthey have eggs, but the shelves are empty. Same result as if the shelves were removed.

I remember a veteran trying to convince me that Trump/Vance would be better for veterans than Harris/Waltz. Guess he was wrong. And it really sucks he was wrong.
