Joined and found out you can do half stars on there, which means things are about to get crazy!!!
Also likely moving my book tracking to Storygraph instead of Goodreads. Who's on there??
Oops I meant first book of 2026 is #KingSorrow. Apologies to Joe Hill. Though I feel like my alt title works for what these people go through!

This ongoing rain would be triggering my depression except I have adopted Jules Kiki Cobb's "bath, shower, bath" plan. I read in the tub and get a lot done. I miss #CougarTown.

#sixseasonsandamovie

Just maybe not the movie you expected?
The real story is not that those on #Community don't want to talk about Chevy now, it's how the show adapted to the complications on set and in storylines, especially as the show got even more complex in style.

I'd love to write that book/make that documentary.

That show was a complicated gem.

How'd everyone do on their reading lists in 2025?

I read 175 books. The first being #TheMesmerist, the last being #Katabasis.

Yes, there are still a few hours left in the year, but the next book on my list is 800+ pages (#KingOfSorrow) so it will be the first book I finish in 2026.

Instagram just showed me an ad for a binder called "In case I go missing" that has envelopes inside for hair samples and pages for writing samples, etc. So...2026 isn't going to be any better than 2025, is it?

Maybe Rachel returns everything Ross buys her because he buys terrible gifts. Remember when he tried to apologize for The List with a Slinky?

This has been brought to you by rewatching all the #Friends Christmas / New Year's episodes in a row. Happy Holidays!

Being unemployed at Christmas means I've cut out buying gifts for myself this year, so I've been bingeing #KingOfCollectibles (new season out tomorrow) to get my fix of insane things and I really need them to do a season on Disney memorabilia...but not until I get a new job and can buy some of it!

What if, instead of the Pigeon Lady, Kevin had Eloise to help him around New York in #HomeAlone2? The IP crossover would have been full of even more mischief and magic!

I need to understand what test these people took to get on #WhatsInTheBox. I am BAFFLED by some of the things no one knew.

I also need to understand why the producers thought a grand prize of Bitcoin was a good idea.

I didn't have a communion or a confirmation or a Bat Mitzvah or a Sweet 16 or a wedding or a baby. Yes, those were all my choice, but I'd really like to cash in on the monetary value of gifts I would have received for any or all of those during this time of unemployment...

I honestly can't understand why publishers thought this would have any other outcome. Things that go viral on social media rarely go viral for good reasons, let alone reasons someone would later pay money to get more of. Also, the general public has been blissfully unaware of who this woman is.

I don't use Spotify but what do you think it would say my age is since I have had "A Smile and a Ribbon" on a loop since #WelcomeToDerry premiered?

(Do people know that was originally released in the '50s or has AI convinced everyone it's a brand new tune?)

I was CONVINCED I had seen this image on a Sarah Jessica Parker movie poster before. Seems like it's a mandela effect? But there is an ad for SJP's shoe line that comes close.

Maybe it's my algorithm but I didn't see anyone talking about Janet Hubert on #BelAir. All the attention went to Will Smith's cameo, which yes obviously it would. But it's a bummer because she's great and her moment fit into the story without adding magical realism that changed the tone of the show.

Eagerly awaiting the first criminal case where someone accidentally harms or kills a baby and the defense is they were following ChatGPT instructions on how to care for the kid.
This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."
