I believe in science.
I want to leave the world a better place. I am worried about my country. I want to learn more and use my voice. Les Misérables by Victor Hugo is my favorite book. "Freedom is what you do with what has been done to you." Sartre
What does everyone think so far about Kamala Harris's new book? I just got started earlier today.

The new issue of Mother Jones is loaded with informative, in-depth articles about the technofascists attempted takeover, including eugenics and white nationalism. If you don't have a subscription, you can read it using the Libby app for free with your library card! I recommend this read.

Every day that passes, I feel like I understand my ancestors who lived under Henry VIII a little better. Living in a land ruled by a "leader" with syphilis isn't easy.

We had more people in my small town.
Our military deserves better than this empty charade. Yikes. The tank squeaking over silence is incredible.

We have to keep speaking up about all of these men being illegally held in foreign concentration camps without due process. How long will Trump's administration ignore a 9-0 Supreme Court order?

The link for article is below, it is a worthwhile read. I remember as a young driver, my dad taught me that if an unmarked car attempts to pull me over to put on my flashers and call 911. He would have never told me to trust law enforcement that isn't uniformed, showing a badge, and wearing a mask.

I have a simple plan, cut the tax cuts, keep the money going to Medicaid, research, Department Of Interior, and so on. Just through stopping the tax cuts on the top 5%, they will find that balancing the budget much easier.

We have less than a day to stop Elon Musk from being able to increase his SpaceX launches from 50 per year to 120 from Cape Canaveral. Musk's rockets are dumping pollution into the air and water, destroying wildlife habitats, and raining debris onto Florida that's stopped air traffic. Comment now!

Bastards! Apparently, programs that support intervention programs for nonviolent youth offenders, avert opioid-related deaths, identify community-based approaches to preventing hate crimes against Arab, Jewish & Asian Americans, etc….DID NOT ALIGN with their fascist agenda.

In 2000, I was the first female salesperson at a certain car dealership, and I was called "the skirt," I was sexually harassed on a daily basis. I want better for my daughter. We deserve progress!

I have been reading up on Constitutional Law (Chemerinsky) and just started to reread the Federalist Papers. If you have a library card, you can access these for free on Libby! Let's fight their injustice through arming ourselves with education! What is everyone reading/listening to?

“We are all afraid,” Murkowski said, taking a long pause. “It’s quite a statement. But we are in a time and a place where I certainly have not been here before. And I’ll tell ya, I’m oftentimes very anxious myself about using my voice, because retaliation is real. And that’s not right.”
‘We are all afraid’: Speaking to Alaska nonprofit leaders, Murkowski gets candid on upheaval in federal government
During a 45-minute discussion, the senator discussed a number of topics, ranging from protests to illegal withholding of funds to widespread anxiety.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.
