Meet the Vocabulary List Generator (VLG), a free digital tool that can be easily used by practitioners and researchers to create vocabulary lists. The VLG takes into account frequency together with the latest dispersion measures.

It incorporates the dispersion measures recommended by Egbert and Burch (2023): evenness and pervasiveness. While pervasiveness is incorporated in other publicly available digital tools in the form of range measures, evenness has yet to make its way to such tools, which is why we developed the VLG.
