And I say this as a Brit

I’m far more excited than I should be that I can fit 33 monitors on each of these new shelving units at Debug HQ

Someone should release a prequel to their modern game on an 8-bit system

I would actually bankroll that concept, for the right game

One of Nick's friends will be doing a charity stream on the 23rd (Nick's birthday). Do consider taking a look and maybe donating to a cause that meant a lot to Nick. We'll hopefully see you in the chat room.

Add some tables and this would be a pretty interesting venue for an awards show 🤔

Did anyone else grow up not fully comprehending that the games business is… business?

The same went for the music business when I was a kid. I just thought everyone did it for fun

Photography post…

I just discovered some raw photos taken with my old Canon Powershot G1 from 2000

Yes, TWENTY FIVE years ago 😮

And I’m confident in saying they look better than what my 2025 iPhone can do. That’s really shocked me!

The floor in my house is falling in & I need to get it fixed badly... If you want to help prevent my house falling in (will halt productivity a bit) it'd be much appreciated!

My local “kebab shop” specialises in two things, and does both of them really well…

Kebab
Pizza

And yet, they don’t have a kebab pizza

This is hitting me pretty hard.

Nick was close to my age, we met about 15 years ago at a Sonic the Hedgehog convention, both worked on magazines, and bonded over a shared love for the Dreamcast.

It was just a couple days ago that we last spoke…
This is absolutely heartbreaking news.

our incredible features editor, sadly passed away yesterday. He was an incredible asset to the magazine and a compassionate and fantastic friend. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.
I just can’t believe he’s gone

I created Debug to give indie gaming fans an “offline” way to enjoy this hobby.

The same way I used to read Edge, PC Gamer, and OXM growing up.

It feels give to take your eyes off screens for a short moment.

For those wondering how print magazines are holding up in 2025…

The cost to ship to the USA has doubled since we launched @debugmag.com in 2023

It now costs £9 (just under $12) to ship our 400 gram publication! Which FYI is more than the magazine costs…
