Okay, there needs to be a Grammy category for this. And this needs to be the winner.
Footnote 21 indicates that the flawed indictment does not toll the statute of limitations and the DOJ is barred from pursuing a new indictment. Something for the 4th Circuit and maybe SCOTUS to chew on, if the DOJ is into serial humiliation
Dismissal without prejudice. So, if they try to reindict with a legit prosecutor, are they barred by the statute of limitations, or will it relate back to the filing of the flawed indictment? Or, do they ride what they have up through the 4th Circuit and SCOTUS?
