GenX, Sci-Fi Geek, Dad, and Dog Owner. I try not to give a damn but it seems I really do care.

Expect my content to be full of angry politics, satire, music, jokes and geekery, with plenty of Star Wars, Trek, Discworld and other pop-culture references.

A lot of people are saying "Sir, sir, that is the dumbest idea of all time."

I remind them who aced giraffe recognition.

Why didn't he learn. He wanted to remain. So could have used the same trick. Remain verses a number of alternative leave options which would have split the leave vote, but made sure 'they knew what they voted for'.

But no. A binary yes/no referendum that has split the nation for 10 years.

And he didn't need to.

They rigged the voting reform referendum by offering 3 alternative (and shitty) versions of AV over keeping FPTP.

This ensured that people that knew what was needed did not get the preferred AV, and it split the vote of those that REALLY wanted to do away with FPTP.

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo

He didn't steal it. He extorted it.

Minor quibble though.

I am surprised that an English nationalist party is able to gain any traction in our neighboring nations...
