My Senator threatens a government shutdown unless DHS(ICE) is defunded. I like his thinking BUT id prefer he doesn't make idle political threats and then completely cave.

The question of who the Fed chair will be is almost entirely irrelevant. What matters is whether the courts will prevent Cook from being fired and whether Powell will stay on as governor.

I need to reset my moral and ethical compass perhaps. Could someone explain on Moral, Ethical or even religious grounds, if one prefers, the justification for Trump coin being Okay? I see it as a complete and total failure in judgement by our duly elected president who I support as my President.
