The devil on the left shoulder, the angel on the right. One represents a tyrant who insists on strict rules, otherwise be damned, where wars are constantly fought in his name. The other, of sensory pleasures, breaking rules and never conforming. One is considered good, the other evil.

I decided to paint a still life picture. As someone who has had the black fog as an unwelcome companion, I pondered upon the effect of adding a question mark to the end of that prompt. That simple punctuation mark completely transformed its intent. Punctuation is powerful.

Another oldie from 1998. It was intended to be the first of a series I was going to collectively call "Deflowered Fairies", a mischief upon the popular Flower Fairies which was still popular at that time, but I never got round to it. Might rectify that someday.

With his finger firmly on the pulse of social media, this old man decides to make his first post here a picture he drew 27yrs ago. Probably some commentary on the irrelevance of dogma in the feral wilderness. But basically it's a rip-off of an Alan Lee pic, with added smut.
