The devil on the left shoulder, the angel on the right. One represents a tyrant who insists on strict rules, otherwise be damned, where wars are constantly fought in his name. The other, of sensory pleasures, breaking rules and never conforming. One is considered good, the other evil.

Over her left shoulder depicts a scene where she is with two men in a meadow outside their log cabin. They are naked and happy. Below the scene are images representing air, water, earth and fire. Her hair on her left side is clean and maintained and there is a silhouette of a phallus reflected in her left eye. On her right, her hair is dull and lifeless, covered in dust and dirt. A large scar runs across her eyebrow and cheek. Tears well up in her right eye. There is a reflection of a gun in her right eye. I decided to paint a still life picture. As someone who has had the black fog as an unwelcome companion, I pondered upon the effect of adding a question mark to the end of that prompt. That simple punctuation mark completely transformed its intent. Punctuation is powerful.

Here, Susan returns, in her own way, unmended.
Susan Pevensie, now a grown woman, returns to Narnia on her own terms. She smokes, is fashionable and has seamed stockings and high heels. She hasn't "mended" her ways and the fauns of Narnia are thankful. The ornate carvings of the wardrobe, which she would not have seen as a child, show that she would never have been judged before. She was always welcome. She opens the doors and sees a faun waiting for her, with gifts and she enters Narnia to live out the rest of her days.

It has been 17 years since I had done any art. I lost my mojo, depression had become an unwelcome bedfellow and I decided that I was simply not good enough.
However, now I am jobless and homeless, I decided to get back to ot before it's too late.

Another oldie from 1998. It was intended to be the first of a series I was going to collectively call "Deflowered Fairies", a mischief upon the popular Flower Fairies which was still popular at that time, but I never got round to it. Might rectify that someday.

With his finger firmly on the pulse of social media, this old man decides to make his first post here a picture he drew 27yrs ago. Probably some commentary on the irrelevance of dogma in the feral wilderness. But basically it's a rip-off of an Alan Lee pic, with added smut.
A defiant Crusader proudly trots in a wild wood, a scroll of dogma clutched in his armored hand, completely unaware that the wild, feral faerie folk do not welcome him here. Phallic flora reach out to snare him. He will almost certainly not reach his destination...
