Saved a machine from the landfill. This guy just needed a little love. This guy is going to be going to its new owner sometimes in the next week.

I keep getting myself into trouble. I got another new to me machine. It's another Singer 66 this one has a 1917 serial number, back clamping feet, and has a motor and light. She hasn't had her first bath yet but I wanted to share so @sewingdeadgirl.bsky.social could add her to the list.

Try to ignore the upside down letters. But here is my test engrave for the Reproduction National Two Spool Slide plate I'm making to replace a missing one. #twospool #vintagesewingmachine #fiberlaser

As soon as I learned about the two spool sewing machine I had to have one. I found this guy about a 3-hour drive away from me and had to have it. It was an auction and I don't know if all the parts were there or not. Fortunately everything, including the spool case, was in the machine.

I got a new bobbin cover plate from @sewingdeadgirl.bsky.social (Thanks again!) so now I can get this vintage 66 sewing machine up and running again. I also decided to take a second and show how to properly (and easily) install the slide cover. #vintagesewingmachine #singer66

Just got a new to me vintage sewing machine. This one is a 1947 Singer 66. The decals are in great shape, it's a bit dusty, missing the bobbin cover plate, and has some tape residue but overall it's in great shape. The cabinet is in okay shape but could benefit from refurbishment.

I've already made version 2 of my pedal extender. This one has some engraving inspired by the decals on my Featherweight. I love making things for my vintage sewing machine.

Here is the first finished prototype. I am already working on some new engraving/patterns for the pedal. My first one is inspired by the decals on my Featherweight.

I'm working on a pedal extender for my vintage Singer sewing machines. There are like a million different ones out there but I wanted to try a wood working project since it's been a minute.

Just got another machine. This isn't the normal vintage sewing machine I normally get. It's a Pakistani made copy of a Japanese machine that was made sometime from the 50s to 70s, that was in turn mostly a copy of a Singer 15. The fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired but it's still cute.

Every new discover makes me think I need to disassemble everything on my 1955 Singer 201. #vintagesewingmachine

The joys of vintage machines. I was working on chasing down a tension issue on my Singer 201 and found the upper tension assembly stuck in place and the set screw removed entirely. Now I get to try to find a replacement. (And this wasn't even the problem!) #vintagesewmingmachine

#VintageSewingmachine friends, does anyone have recommendations for usable chain stitch sewing machines that aren't toys. I'm aware of the Singer 24 but I'm looking for other options I could actually sew with. (I wouldn't be opposed to machines if they are usable for "real sewing")

I'm trying to determine if this occlupanid is a Cardioris amplifolium or not. I am uncertain of the identity with the attached paper tag. Is the paper some form of mutation, adaptation, or is it another species? Hoping @occlupanid.bsky.social can help.

More practical uses of 3d printing I duplicated some pattern cams for a Dressmaker sewing machine. These sometimes get lost rendering the pattern stitch function useless. Files available www.printables.com/model/108849...

I like going a little too far with my projects sometimes. I made this packaging for some 3d printed toys I'm gifting for Christmas.

Using 3d printing to keep a nearly 100 year old sewing machine running and usable. #vintagesewingmachine #singer99 #3dprinting
