I've started building out the entire world manually through custom illustration rather than reusable tiles, it feels really freeing to be able to play with perspective and a certain amount of optical illusion to communicate with the player. #gamedev #pixelart #godot #leveldesign

Immortals of Aveum is giving me a icky boot licking aftertaste, I'm only part way into it but it really feels like settler prop so far. I can't really find anything about this online in any capacity, but the narratives first impression is really growing sour.
