On your way to work and want some company?

Let @monkemma.bsky.social and I join you for the ride with episode 3 of Bear and Monk Debunk.

This week we discuss whether London is a post apocalyptic hellhole and the myth of the Muslim dog ban.

In both cases, it’s mostly nonsense.

Listen below 👇
Bear and Monk Debunk #3: London and Dog Bans
Is London an irredeemable fiery tip, and are there calls for dogs to be banned? Both these topics are discussed in detail this week.

Braverman is one of the most repulsive politicians out there. Vicious, fascistic, useless, without principle, loyalty or *any* actual genuine success to her name.
Just cheating, lying, letting people down and delivering failure. No wonder she feels she’s “come home” to Reform. It’s a perfect fit.

Seventeen breaches of disclosure rules by Farage with exactly zero consequences.

The excuse?

He's far too busy, important, overwhelmed and confused by computers.

This, however, isn’t a one-off failure - it’s a system that now treats confusion and busyness as mitigation rather than misconduct.

100% agree - all you’re doing is delaying young people from falling into a bear pit.

What we need is the already mentioned accountability, but also social media literacy - not only for kids, but adults as well.

A ban would be about as useful as a crochet condom if you don’t address root causes.
The Social Media giants need to be accountable.

Banning SM for kids under 16 simply lets those corporations off the hook and those kids who want to, will not only get round it - but do so surreptitiously and in my opinion that's far more dangerous.
