BREAKING🚨: @Equinor has resubmitted its application to open the biggest undeveloped oil field in the UK - Rosebank.

In the next weeks, the UK gov will decide to reject or approve this disaster project.

Equinor hasn’t given up, and neither will we. We’re stepping things up.

Hey @teamlabouruk.bsky.social you were very clear pre-election that you'd stop destructive bottom trawling ripping apart our marine havens.

Where's the action for our ocean?
🌊 We haven't forgotten that before the election, Labour promised to end the destruction of bottom-trawl fishing. And clearly neither has @tobyperkinsmp.bsky.social.

So, where is the action to protect our #ocean havens? Where's the #bottomtrawling public consultation we were promised? ⌛️🪸

During the presidential campaign, I wrote an op-ed about how Trump’s proposed policies would be bad for ocean science and conservation, and senior members of my field told me I was being unprofessional.

Thinking about them as I read a news story called “the darkest day in scientific history.”
