That’s 10 days away.

Why can’t it be tomorrow?

Fucking hell, Britain should be actively DEFENDING Greenland from U.S. aggression, not releasing totally wishy-washy wet noodle statements like this.

Geez.

This video is the perfect encapsulation of the illegal, thuggish, unprovoked, violent conduct of ICE. Rep. @benniethompson.bsky.social, I trust that you and the House Homeland Security Committee will have interest in this.

First of all, good for her for calmly standing her ground and ignoring all the empty threats -- "we're gonna put you in the car and ID you!" -- until these goons give up and slink away.

Second, the irony of masked agents of the state with no name plates demanding *other* people identify themselves?
This woman is harder than goddamn steel dealing with these goddamn thugs. I want her to be my neighbor.

I really shouldn’t be amazed any more at the ludicrous statements by people who support a political party that would jail, deport, or kill them without a second thought

In the movies, maybe

Ask me about the time in the 1990s when I had a group of traffic cops surrounding my car, pointing guns at me AND MY SMALL CHILDREN
Before Trump, law enforcement were trained to behave professionally. At a traffic stop they would start with words such as "Mam, may I see your drivers license and registration."

ICE evidently trains their goons to start a stop with screamed profanity, quickly followed by violence.

Could this entire regime be found to be in contempt for defying the order to release the #Epstein files, and thrown in jail?

Asking for (1) a country and (2) the entire world.

Actually, that’s part of the problem. As an elected ‘representative’ (the clue is in the word), you are meant to vote for the things that the people you represent want, not just what you want

I read these directives from the US State Department telling US citizens to leave this country or that, and I wonder:

Who in the eyes of the current US State Department is a US citizen?

I can see people leaving and getting to the US border—land, air, or sea—and being detained and deported.

When I read a post by someone saying that it is impossible for this regime to impose martial law because of the size of the US population vs the size of the regime’s goons, I always think:

Does ‘the 400 million ruled by the 40,000’ ring any bells?
