A few years ago, I served on a jury in a rape case.
The victim testified that she said no. Repeatedly. He was bigger than her & she could not get out from under him.
11 of the jurors voted not guilty.
I hung that jury. And I'm fucking proud of that.

Today I should drive 4 hours r/t to spend 2 more hours putting up new smoke detectors in mom's old house & checking on her at the SNF.
But over the past 7 days I've spent 4+ hours a day every day doing stuff for her.
So instead I'll be doing as little as possible. With the phone on do not disturb.
